Akwatia: Prominent NDC Leaders Visit Akyem Wenchi to Unveil Chosen Candidate
A prominent delegation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) visited the Oseawuo Division of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional State in the Eastern Region on Saturday.
The delegation, headed by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, featured National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo, former NDC National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Ambassador Victor Smith, along with other senior party members.
The visit aimed to officially introduce Bernard Bediako Baidoo Esq., the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the forthcoming Akwatia by-election, to Daasebre Dr. Assumadu Nyarko Appiah, Chief of Akyem Wenchi, and the local traditional leaders.
In the meantime, political parties are intensifying their campaigns in the Akwatia constituency in preparation for the eagerly awaited by-election set for Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
