GES denies reports that it has fully reverted 2025/2026 academic year to single-track system
The Ghana Education Service has issued a clarification regarding the 2025/2026 academic calendar, denying reports that it has fully reverted to the single-track system. According to the Service, the calendar makes provisions for both single-track and double-track schools.
Key Dates for the 2025/2026 Academic Year:
– Start Date for First-Year Students: Saturday, October 18, 2025
– End Date for Single-Track Schools: August 21, 2026
– End Date for Double-Track Schools: September 4, 2026
