Ghana’s men’s 4x100m relay team fell just short of a historic medal, finishing fourth in the final at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

The United States, featuring Christian Coleman, Kenneth Bednarek, Courtney Lindsey, and Noah Lyles, stormed to victory in a world-leading 37.29s. Canada, anchored by Olympic champion Andre De Grasse, claimed silver in a season’s best of 37.55s.

Germany (38.29s), Japan (38.35s), and France (38.58s) followed, while Australia did not finish.

Meanwhile, Rose Yeboah finished 15th in the Women’s High Jump final after unsuccessfully attempting to clear the bar at 1.93m.
