The Church of Pentecost has commissioned and handed over a newly built, fully furnished police station at Kawampe in the Bono East Region.

The facility was officially presented to the government on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, by General Secretary Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi on behalf of Chairman Apostle Eric Nyamekye.

Present at the ceremony were Bono East Regional Minister Francis Owusu Antwi; COP Dr. Sayibu Padi Gariba, Director-General of the National Police Protection Department; senior police officers, traditional leaders, church officials, and community members.

Speaking for the Chairman, Apostle Obuobi said the project falls under the church’s “Possessing the Nations” agenda and its Safety and Security initiative, which supports security agencies with infrastructure, logistics, and chaplaincy to promote peace and national transformation.
