President Mahama Returns from Nairobi After Africa Forward Summit

President John Dramani Mahama is back in Ghana following high-level engagements at the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi.

Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron co-hosted the summit. During the meeting, Mahama joined discussions on energy and green transitions, took part in a strategic session on strengthening African financial institutions, and co-chaired a dialogue on reforming healthcare systems across the continent.

On the sidelines, he held bilateral meetings with several global and regional leaders. These included IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, officials from the African Continental Free Trade Area, and representatives of the International Fund for Agricultural Development.

The engagements were aimed at reinforcing Ghana’s commitment to global cooperation and sustainable development.
