Seth Offei Declares Amasaman NPP Secretary Bid: “The Time Is Now To Serve”
Amasaman Constituency NPP is set for a keen contest as Seth Offei, popularly known as S.O., has officially declared his intention to contest the Constituency Secretary position.
In a statement released after consultations with key stakeholders, Offei said he is “duty-bound” to offer himself for service based on his years of experience in party structures and governance.
Offei said his decision follows “a thoughtful and reflective moment” and wide consultations within the political environment. His conclusion: to continue serving the New Patriotic Party.“The time is now! Not just for the title, but to serve!” he stated.
The Amasaman Secretary hopeful highlighted his track record as an acting polling station secretary, press secretary to the 2024 Fanteakwa South NPP PC aspirant, presiding officer, personal assistant, and member of the NPP’s national communications team.
He added that his academic background in English, communication, public policy and governance, labour law, and his profession as a teacher give him the conviction to serve with diligence, honesty, credibility, and patriotism.
Offei acknowledged concerns raised by some party members after he declared his intent to contest. He promised to address them in the coming days and share deeper insights into his policies and programs if elected.
“Many have expressed genuine concerns about recent events and happenings after I made the decision to contest, yearning to hear my voice for clarification. I shall tell my story in the coming days,” he said.
The Amasaman Constituency Secretary race is expected to be competitive as the NPP prepares for internal elections ahead of 2028.
