Mbappe brace seals dramatic 2-1 Clasico win for Real Madrid at Camp Nou

BARCELONA
Kylian Mbappe scored twice as Real Madrid came from behind the pressure to beat Barcelona 2-1 in a thrilling El Clasico at the Spotify Camp Nou.
The winner came in the 87th minute. Jude Bellingham created space with brilliant footwork before finding Eduardo Camavinga, whose low cutback was finished clinically by Mbappe.
The goal sparked wild scenes on the touchline, with Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho sliding to his knees in celebration as staff and players rushed onto the pitch amid tense exchanges with home supporters.

Barcelona had looked the more likely winners after Raphinha’s equaliser levelled the game. The Brazilian’s sharp effort cancelled out Real’s opener and shifted momentum, with Lamine Yamal going close to putting the hosts ahead moments later.

Real’s first goal had an element of luck, with Mbappe seeing a clearance from Gerard Martin ricochet off him and into the net, but the build-up play showed intent from the visitors to match Barcelona.
The result cuts Barcelona’s lead at the top of La Liga to three points. Atletico Madrid sit second, now just two points behind the leaders.
It caps a difficult week for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona, who saw their 11-match winning run to start the season ended by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in midweek. For Real Madrid, it is a statement victory – their first league win away at Barcelona in three years.
