Bawumia Calls for Action on Unity to Secure 2028 Victory for NPP

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has submitted his nomination forms for the NPP presidential primaries, emphasizing the need for unity within the party to secure victory in the 2028 general elections. He cautioned against internal attacks, warning that they would harm the party’s chances of winning.
“To win 2028, we must not just talk unity; we must live it. The repeated attacks by our own party folk on one another are absolutely unhelpful. What we say against each other is what the NDC will use against us in 2028.”
“If you claim you are a true patriot and want this party to win in 2028, then stop it. Don’t lecture us about how blue your blood is – let your actions show. Stop the internal attacks now. Stop the religious and tribal attacks now,” he urged.
Dr. Bawumia assured the party that his leadership would be based on peace and inclusiveness, and he emphasized the importance of experience in the next election cycle. He believes that with unity and consistency, the NPP can regain the trust of Ghanaians and reclaim power in 2028
