Shatta Wale to Partner Student Loan Trust Fund as Education Ministry Backs Collaboration

The Ministry of Education has backed a proposed partnership between the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) and dancehall artiste Shatta Wale to mark the Fund’s 20th anniversary.

The collaboration was tabled during a meeting with the SLTF Board and Management at the Ministry of Education. Discussions focused on using the artiste’s influence to boost public awareness of the Fund, especially among Ghana’s youth. Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu praised the initiative, saying it supports wider efforts to increase the visibility of the SLTF’s work.

He noted the Fund remains key in helping students access higher education and achieve their academic goals.

Shatta Wale, also present at the meeting, stressed the role of education in shaping the country’s future. He said the partnership offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students nationwide.
