CFAO Mobility Ghana PLC has pledged full cooperation with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) and other relevant authorities to establish the facts surrounding the impoundment of vehicles at Tema Harbour.

In a press release, the company said it takes the matter seriously and is committed to ensuring clarity as investigations continue.

The issue follows a recent DVLA statement indicating that some of the affected vehicles were imported by CFAO and that an external agent involved in the clearance process may have used unauthorised methods, resulting in discrepancies.

CFAO Mobility Ghana stressed that it does not condone, support, or engage in any form of fraudulent or non-compliant activity.

It added that its internal systems, processes, and partnerships are designed to uphold integrity at every stage of its operations.

“We take this matter seriously and will fully cooperate with the DVLA and all relevant authorities to establish the facts and ensure clarity. CFAO Mobility Ghana does not condone, support, or engage in any form of fraudulent or non-compliant activity. Our internal systems, processes, and partnerships are structured to uphold integrity at every stage of our operations,” the statement said.

The company also highlighted its longstanding track record of operating with high standards of compliance, transparency, and ethical business conduct, particularly in adhering to regulations governing vehicle importation, clearance, and registration in Ghana.

It further reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the trust of customers, partners, and regulators, noting that updates will be provided as investigations progress.
