Government reports 808 staff at presidency as of December 2025
The government has submitted its annual staffing report to Parliament, revealing that 808 personnel were working at the Office of the President as of December 31, 2025.
The report, laid before Parliament in accordance with Section 11 of the Presidential Office Act, 1993 (Act 463), details the composition of staff at the Presidency for the period January 1 to December 31, 2025.
According to the document, the workforce comprises 233 political appointees, 585 civil servants, and other public officers assigned to the Presidency.
It also provides details on the ranks, grades, and positions of presidential staff, as well as officers seconded from other public services to the Office of the President.
The submission fulfills the statutory requirement for the Presidency to account annually to Parliament on its staffing position.
The full report, which contains the names and grades of all staff at the Presidency, has been tabled for Parliamentary review.
