Newly elected Ashanti Regional Executives pay courtesy call on Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia

The newly elected Ashanti Regional executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have paid a courtesy visit to the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The visit, held at the former Vice President’s office, was aimed at aligning their vision for the party’s future, strengthening grassroots structures in the Ashanti Region, and advancing their shared commitment to progress and party unity.

The regional executives, who were recently elected to lead the party’s stronghold, reaffirmed their loyalty to Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and pledged to work tirelessly to consolidate the NPP’s base ahead of the 2028 general elections.

They outlined plans to embark on extensive grassroots mobilization, membership drive, and reconciliation efforts to ensure a united front in the region.

On his part, Dr. Bawumia congratulated the new executives on their election and urged them to be inclusive, hardworking, and focused on the party’s core mission of rebuilding and recapturing power.

He stressed the need for discipline, unity, and dedication at all levels of the party, describing the Ashanti Region as critical to the NPP’s electoral fortunes.

The meeting ended with assurances of close collaboration between the flagbearer and the regional leadership to strengthen the party.
