1. MAIN HEADLINE: MIIF targets GH¢9bn royalty collection
The Minerals Income Investment Fund has targeted GH¢9 billion in royalties by the end of 2026. CEO Justina Nelson said they already collected GH¢5.3 billion in the first half of 2026, compared to GH¢2.6 billion in the same period last year. Total collection for 2025 was GH¢5.4 billion against GH¢4.9 billion in 2024. She disclosed this when Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie visited MIIF in Accra. The visit was to strengthen collaboration between the Judiciary and MIIF.
2. Vaccine Institute, WHOadvances clinical trials ecosystem – Page 13
National Vaccine Institute and the World Health Organisation are working to strengthen Ghana’s clinical trials system to support local vaccine manufacturing. Ghana is piloting WHO’s new assessment tool to improve capacity for high-quality trials.
3. Standard Chartered pays GH¢97.8m dividend to SSNIT – Page 13

Standard Chartered Bank Ghana has paid GH¢97.8 million dividend to SSNIT for the 2025 financial year. This is part of the bank’s total dividend payout, providing liquidity for SSNIT to pay pensioners.
4. BOST pays GH¢34.2m dividend to govt – First in company’s history – Page 20

BOST Energies has paid GH¢34,197,990.59 to the government. This is the first dividend in the 32-year history of the company, marking a turnaround from losses to profit.
