Newly elected National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has expressed profound gratitude to delegates and party members for the confidence reposed in him.

In a thank-you message issued on Monday, Mr. Boadu said he was humbled by the mandate and accepts it with a profound sense of responsibility.

“I am deeply grateful to the rank and file of our Party, especially the delegates, for your trust and support. I am humbled by this mandate and accept it with a profound sense of responsibility,” he stated.

He thanked his campaign team, volunteers and supporters for their commitment and selfless service, stressing that the victory belongs to the entire NPP, not to one person or group.

Mr. Boadu extended a hand of friendship to his fellow contestants, describing their ideas, experience and commitment as valuable assets to the party.

“To those who supported me, I say thank you. To my fellow contestants, I extend my hand of friendship and partnership… From this moment, there are no winners and losers, only one NPP, united in purpose and determined to win in 2028,” he said.

The National Chairman pledged to work closely with the General Secretary, newly elected national officers, regional and constituency executives, the Council of Elders, external branches, patrons, Members of Parliament, TESCON, voluntary groups and communicators to strengthen the party.

He outlined his priorities as rebuilding party structures, promoting discipline, ensuring every member feels valued, heard and protected, and upholding the integrity of internal elections.

He also promised to reconnect with the youth and restore the party’s presence in tertiary institutions as centres of constructive political engagement and leadership development.

“Unity does not mean uniformity. Our diverse experiences are a source of strength, and I pledge to lead with an open door: to listen, consult and embrace good ideas, wherever they come from,” Mr. Boadu added.

“The future of the NPP will not be built by one Chairman, one General Secretary, one Flagbearer or one group. It will be built by all of us.”

Mr. Boadu further pledged to serve with humility, lead through consultation and promote reconciliation to rebuild trust and restore confidence.

“Together, we will rebuild trust, restore confidence and bring back the winning ways of the NPP in 2028,” he said.
