2. Pres Mahama pardons 863 prisoners

He used Article 72(1) of the Constitution after consulting the Council of State. Breakdown: 819 first offenders freed outright, 13 prisoners aged 70+ freed, 6 seriously ill freed, 11 death sentences changed to life imprisonment, 6 life sentences reduced to 20 years, plus others on special recommendation and petitions.
3. GSE calls for stronger collaboration to deepen capital market

5. GIIF SkyTrain case: Former CEO asks Supreme Court to halt proceedings
Former GIIF CEO Solomon Asamoah, who is on trial with former board chair Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi over alleged $2 million loss in the failed Accra SkyTrain project, has asked the Supreme Court to stop the High Court trial.
