Bawumia congratulates newly elected NPP Constituency Executives, calls for unity ahead of 2028

The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has congratulated all newly elected Constituency Executives following the successful constituency elections held across the country on Saturday.
In a press release signed by his Communications Directorate, Dr. Bawumia said the election of the new executives reflects the confidence reposed in them by the grassroots of the Party.
“Their election reflects the confidence reposed in them by the grassroots of the Party,” the statement read. “Dr. Bawumia is confident they will provide the leadership, unity, and commitment needed to strengthen the Party and work tirelessly towards securing victory in the 2028 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.”
The NPP Flagbearer also used the opportunity to appeal to all unsuccessful aspirants to unite behind the newly elected executives.
“He believes every member has an important role to play in building a stronger, more united, and victorious New Patriotic Party,” the release stated.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized that unity within the party will be critical to its electoral fortunes.
“Unity remains our greatest strength and the surest path to victory in 2028,” he said.
The constituency elections are part of the NPP’s internal reorganization process as the party begins preparations for the 2028 general elections.
