Boakye Agyarko appeals to delegates to elect him NPP National Chairman

Former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, has joined party members in Kumasi for the Ashanti Regional Thanksgiving Service, an occasion centred on gratitude, fellowship and unity.

Addressing the gathering, Ashanti Regional Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), encouraged the Ashanti Region to support its own, noting that other regions were rallying behind their own candidates. He emphasised members’ collective responsibility to strengthen and unite the NPP ahead of the 2028 elections.

After the service, Mr. Agyarko engaged the media and appealed to delegates to elect him as National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He pledged to bridge divisions, unite the rank and file, lead reconciliation, uphold discipline at every level and equip party officers with the resources needed to perform effectively.

According to him, his objective is to build a united, disciplined and adequately resourced NPP that will secure a convincing presidential victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and a strong parliamentary majority in 2028.

He stressed that success in both elections would provide the foundation for stable and effective governance.
