Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo marries longtime partner Jordeen Buckley

Ghanaian international and Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, Jordeen Buckley.
The 26-year-old striker got married in an intimate civil ceremony on Thursday, October 8, 2026, during the ongoing international football break, in an event attended by close family, friends and loved ones.

The couple later confirmed the news on social media, introducing themselves to fans as “Mr. & Mrs. Semenyo” as they celebrated the next chapter of their six-year relationship.

Love Story from Bristol to Manchester
Semenyo and Jordeen have been together since 2020, when the forward was still playing for Bristol City. They have largely kept their relationship away from the public spotlight.
In November 2025, shortly after leaving the Black Stars camp due to injury, Semenyo proposed to Jordeen in a romantic setup decorated with giant roses and candles. Jordeen, who shared the moment on Instagram, wrote: “Forever has a nice ring to it. Song of Solomon 3:4 – I have found the one whom my soul loves.”

Who is Jordeen Buckley?
Jordeen is a London-based content creator, model, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of Jrose Nail Bar / Rosé Nail Bar in London and has been a constant support system for Semenyo, often seen cheering him on at stadiums for both club and country.

Career Milestone
The wedding comes at a high point in Semenyo’s career. After establishing himself at Bournemouth, he secured a major move to Manchester City in January 2026, signing a contract until 2031.
He has made an impressive start to the 2026/27 season with City, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists in 7 appearances across all competitions.
The former Bournemouth star will now combine life as a married man with his duties for Manchester City and the Ghana Black Stars.
