Zanetor Rawlings Elected Second Vice President of Pan-African Parliament
Klottey Korle MP Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has been elected Second Vice President of the Pan-African Parliament.
She won with 131 votes to 51, signaling strong support from lawmakers across Africa.
The victory boosts Ghana’s influence in the African Union’s legislative organ, which promotes integration, cooperation, and democratic governance among member states.
As Second Vice President, Rawlings joins the bureau that steers the Parliament’s affairs and supports its legislative and advisory work. The role is expected to amplify Ghana’s voice in continental policy discussions.
Her election adds to Ghana’s growing footprint in regional and international governance.
