CAGD Announces Schedule for Payment of Arrears to Education and Health Workers

The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has announced that the payment of salary arrears owed to affected education and health workers, dating back to August 2024, has begun and will continue according to the approved schedule.

According to CAGD, the payment will be made in four tranches as follows:

1. May: 4 months’ arrears

2. June: 4 months’ arrears

3. July: 4 months’ arrears

4. August: 4 months’ arrears

The department stated that the first tranche is expected to be completed by Friday, May 29, 2026. The remaining payments will be disbursed in line with the schedule outlined above.

CAGD thanked the affected beneficiaries for their patience and cooperation during the process.
