Police Arrest Two Suspects Over Kwafokrom Goil Filling Station Robbery
The Eastern South Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with a robbery incident at a Goil filling station in Kwafokrom near Nsawam on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
The suspects have been identified as Amos Boame and Collins Adjei. A third suspect, named Ashivie, is currently at large, and efforts are underway to apprehend him.

During the operation, police retrieved several items from the suspects, including a pump-action firearm, an electronic device, a cutlass, and a bulletproof vest. The items have been retained as evidence.

According to police, the incident resulted in injuries to a security officer and a pump attendant who were at the station at the time. Cash and other items were also taken during the incident. The victims are reported to be in stable condition and are receiving medical attention.
Police say investigations are ongoing, and efforts are being made to locate and arrest any remaining suspects. Nineteen spent cartridges and one live round were found at the scene.

Authorities have urged residents to remain calm, stating that additional security measures have been put in place at the station in collaboration with its management to prevent a recurrence.

The case remains under investigation, and the suspects are expected to be processed for court once investigations are completed.
