Summary: An analysis of 2025 audited financial statements shows Standard Chartered spent the most on staff, averaging GH₵931,000 per employee. Absa followed with GH₵724,000 and Ecobank with GH₵700,000. At the other end, GT Bank spent just GH₵216,000 per employee. The report notes that pay per employee varies more than fourfold across banks, showing differences in business models, not just size.
